Join us for a week of outstanding workshops run by industry professionals. From TV and Film to Mask, Mime, Voiceover, Musical Theatre and Shakespeare, our Easter Workshops are the most dramatic way to spend the holidays. Packed with fun, energy and creativity we promise to bring you the very best drama training around.
With the option to take part in one jam packed workshop day or ALL FIVE fantastic days, it will be the highlight of your actor’s Easter!

Monday - Filmmaking and Voice Over
Get ready for an action-packed day as The Young Actors Company presents Filmmaking and Voice Over workshops. Children and Young Adults who have a passion for acting will have the chance to explore the exciting world of film and learn the art of filmmaking. From understanding camera angles to scriptwriting, they will gain valuable insights into the creative process behind making films.
Additionally, young actors will also discover the magic of voice over work, exploring vocal techniques and lending their voices to bring characters to life. It’s a day filled with creativity, imagination, and the opportunity to shine on both screen and microphone.

Tuesday - Stage Combat and Introduction to Shakespeare
Join us this Easter for an action-packed Stage Combat Workshop designed for young performers! Dive into the thrilling world of stage and screen combat as our expert instructor teaches you how to safely choreograph and perform dynamic fight scenes. You’ll master the art of punches, falls and more—all while learning the secrets behind making it look real and staying safe. Perfect for anyone passionate about acting or curious about the magic of on-screen action, this workshop promises excitement, skill-building, and unforgettable fun! Don’t miss your chance to bring the drama to life!
Young Actors will also dive into the world of Shakespeare as we bring his plays to life through fun, interactive activities and creative performances. They will discover the beauty of his language, explore characters and the timeless themes in a way that is exciting and easy to understand. Whether actors are new to Shakespeare or already a fan, this workshop will ignite imagination.

Wednesday - Musical Theatre and Improvisation
An entire day of workshops taught by top industry professionals. Our Musical Theatre workshop run by Carina Gillespie is not to be missed. With credits including Nessarose in Wicked and Sandy in Grease, Carina will be teaching the importance of connection between music and acting in this not to be missed day!
This Easter, we are thrilled to host an Improvisation Workshop led by the phenomenal Niall Phillips, a classically trained actor, award-winning theatre director, and founder of the renowned Loansome Workshops in London. Known as one of the most exciting drama teachers of his time, Niall brings his incredible expertise, creativity, and energy to every session. Young actors will explore the art of improvisation, building confidence, quick thinking, and creativity in a fun and inspiring environment. Thursday - Mask and Special Effects Make Up
Join us this Easter for an extraordinary Trestle Mask Masterclass! This workshop dives into the art of mask acting, inspired by the renowned Trestle Theatre Company. Our exciting Special Effects Makeup Masterclass is not to be missed! Led by a professional practitioner, this behind-the-scenes workshop will teach you how to create incredible special effects makeup for stage and screen. Friday - Mime and Drama Games
This Easter, join our Drama School’s Mime Workshop Day, led by industry professional Robin Holdaway! Dive into the fascinating world of mime and discover how to tell powerful stories using only your body and movement. Mime training develops creativity, physical expression, and the ability to communicate without words—essential skills for any aspiring actor. Robin’s expertise and passion will make this an inspiring and engaging day, perfect for young actors eager to expand their craft.
We’re ending our Easter School week on a high with a full day dedicated to Drama Games! This final workshop is all about fun, creativity, and connection, as we explore the importance of drama games in building confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the end of a fantastic week, bringing everyone together for an exciting, laughter-filled day that will leave young actors inspired and energised.
