Here at The Young Actors Company, not only do we have a serious passion for training young people in Acting and unlocking their true potential, but we also love seeing them grow in confidence, have fun and make friends. We believe that their Acting training will be carried with them through to adult life…no matter what career path they choose.
Our mission is to inspire the next generation of Young Actors. At The Young Actors Company we bring all aspects of the acting industry together in a creative environment led by great teaching and hands on, practical experience, driven by inspiring role models.
The Young Actors Company is a preferred supplier for supporting artists and agencies to the BBC.
We believe our Screen Academy is one of the very few groups across the country that focuses solely on screen acting.
The Screen Academy undertakes many projects every year, both in-front of and behind the camera. Actors will work on Showreels, Silent Movies, Trailers, Competition Films and much more. Each year the company works on a Major film shot on location.
The Stage Academy is one of the most respected production companies of its kind. The company takes on at least one major production a year that is performed in a professional theatre space.
As well as the production focussed terms, students will also take on a programme of workshops and masterclasses covering a wide variety of stage, screen, voice over, and radio skills.
This group is specifically for children aged 5-8 and is an introduction to drama and acting! There is lots of fun to be had whilst getting the imagination going and learning to work with other children. This class can really help their confidence through drama games and gentle improvisation that all children, the quiet, the shy, the anxious, can get so much out of!
The Workshop is a weekly evening group for all ages. Whether it’s acting, devising, voice work, writing, screen or producing that your young actors are interested in – these sessions can be their springboard into the industry. The Workshop is fast moving, exciting and most importantly full of fun.
